And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:108
Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, Al-Mas’udi narrated to us, from Al-Hakam and Habib, from Maymun ibn Abi Shabib, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Wear white garments, for they are purer and better, and shroud your dead in them."
حدثنا الفضل بن دكين، حدثنا المسعودي، عن الحكم، وحبيب، عن ميمون بن أبي شبيب، عن سمرة بن جندب، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " البسوا الثياب البياض فإنها أطهر وأطيب، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم "
