Al-Hasan ibn Yahya, from the people of Marw, and Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, they said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Wiqa’ ibn Iyas, from Ali ibn Rabi’ah. Ali ibn Ishaq said in his narration: Wiqa’ ibn Iyas informed us, he said: Ali ibn Rabi’ah narrated to me, from Samurah, he said: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stood and delivered a sermon, and he forbade the *duba'* (gourd) and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel)."
