And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:116
'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Samurah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every boy is mortgaged by his 'aqiqah (sacrifice), which is slaughtered on his seventh day, and his head is shaved, and blood is applied to it."
