And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:123
Yazid narrated to us, Mas'udi informed us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit and al-Hakam, from Maymun ibn Abi Shabib, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Wear white garments, for they are the purest and cleanest, and shroud your dead in them."
حدثنا يزيد، أخبرنا المسعودي، عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت، والحكم، عن ميمون بن أبي شبيب، عن سمرة بن جندب، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " البسوا الثياب البيض، فإنها أطيب وأطهر، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم "
