And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:125
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Al-Hajjaj ibn Artah informed us, from Sa'id ibn Zayd ibn Uqbah, from his father, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever finds his property specifically, he is more entitled to it, and the one who bought it follows the one who sold it to him." حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، أخبرنا الحجاج بن أرطأة، عن سعيد بن زيد بن عقبة، عن أبيه، عن سمرة بن جندب، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من أصاب متاعه بعينه فهو أحق به، ويتبع صاحبه من اشتراه منه "، وقال يزيد مرة: " من وجد متاعه "
