And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:141
Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan and Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Habib, from Maymun ibn Abi Shabib, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Wear white garments, and shroud your dead in them, for they are the purest and the best."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا سفيان، وعبد الرحمن، عن سفيان، عن حبيب، عن ميمون بن أبي شبيب، عن سمرة بن جندب، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " البسوا الثياب البياض ، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم، فإنها أطهر وأطيب "
