And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:147
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Ibn Abi Layla. ‘Affan said in his narration: Al-Hakam informed us, he said: I heard Ibn Abi Layla, from Samurah ibn Jundub, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whoever narrates a hadith from me while he considers it a lie, then he is one of the two liars." And ‘Affan also said: "The two liars."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، وعفان، قالا: حدثنا شعبة، عن الحكم، عن ابن أبي ليلى، قال عفان في حديثه: أخبرنا الحكم، قال: سمعت ابن أبي ليلى، عن سمرة بن جندب، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من روى عني حديثا وهو يرى أنه كذب، فهو أحد الكاذبين " وقال عفان أيضا: الكاذبين .
