And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Hadith 799:158

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Ayyub, and Rawh narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi 'Aruba narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Abu al-Muhallab, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Adhere to this white [color], for your living should wear it—and Rawh said: 'Let your living wear it'—and shroud your dead in it, for it is among the best of your garments."

حدثنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا معمر، عن أيوب، وروح، حدثنا سعيد بن أبي عروبة، عن أيوب، عن أبي قلابة، عن أبي المهلب، عن سمرة بن جندب، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " عليكم بهذا البياض، فيلبسه أحياؤكم، وقال روح: فليلبسه أحياؤكم، وكفنوا فيه موتاكم، فإنه من خير ثيابكم "،
