And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:168
Isma'il narrated to us, Yunus narrated to us, from al-Hasan, who said: Samurah said: "I memorized two silences in the prayer: a silence when the Imam says the Takbir until he recites, and a silence when he finishes reciting the Opening of the Book (al-Fatihah) and a Surah, before bowing." He said: Imran ibn Husayn denied that from him, so they wrote to Ubayy [ibn Ka'b] regarding that in Medina. He said: So he confirmed Samurah [as being correct].
حدثنا إسماعيل، حدثنا يونس، عن الحسن، قال: قال سمرة: " حفظت سكتتين في الصلاة، سكتة إذا كبر الإمام حتى يقرأ، وسكتة إذا فرغ من قراءة فاتحة الكتاب ، وسورة عند الركوع "، قال: فأنكر ذلك عليه عمران بن حصين، فكتبوا إلى أبي في ذلك إلى المدينة، قال: فصدق سمرة
