And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:191
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Salam ibn Abi Muti' narrated to us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, from Tha'labah ibn 'Abbad, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in prayer during a solar eclipse for two rak'ahs, in which we did not hear any sound from him."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، حدثنا سلام بن أبي مطيع، عن الأسود بن قيس، عن ثعلبة بن عباد، عن سمرة بن جندب، قال: " صلى بنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في كسوف الشمس ركعتين، لا نسمع له فيهما صوتا "
