And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:37
Rawh narrated to us, from his book, Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah narrated to us, from Qatadah, who said: Al-Hasan narrated from Samurah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Sam is the father of the Arabs, and Yafith is the father of the Romans, and Ham is the father of the Abyssinians." And Rawh said in Baghdad, from his memory: "Noah had three sons: Sam, Ham, and Yafith."
حدثنا روح، من كتابه، حدثنا سعيد بن أبي عروبة، عن قتادة، قال: حدث الحسن، عن سمرة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " سام أبو العرب، ويافث أبو الروم، وحام أبو الحبش "، وقال روح ببغداد من حفظه: " ولد نوح ثلاثة سام وحام ويافث "
