And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Hadith 799:40

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, 'Umar ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Samurah, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "When Eve became pregnant, Iblis circled around her, and no child of hers would live. He said: 'Name him 'Abd al-Harith, for then he will live.' So they named him 'Abd al-Harith, and he lived. That was from the inspiration of Satan and his command."

حدثنا عبد الصمد، حدثنا عمر بن إبراهيم، حدثنا قتادة، عن الحسن، عن سمرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لما حملت حواء طاف بها إبليس، وكان لا يعيش لها ولد، فقال: " سميه عبد الحارث، فإنه يعيش، فسموه عبد الحارث، فعاش، وكان ذلك من وحي الشيطان، وأمره . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
