And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:47
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Isma‘il—meaning Ibn Abi Khalid—who said: I heard al-Sha‘bi narrating from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the morning prayer, then said: "Is there anyone here from the tribe of so-and-so?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Indeed, your companion is detained at the gate of Paradise due to a debt he owes."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن إسماعيل يعني ابن أبي خالد، قال: سمعت الشعبي، يحدث عن سمرة بن جندب، قال: صلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الصبح، فقال: " هاهنا أحد من بني فلان "، قالوا: نعم، قال: " إن صاحبكم محتبس على باب الجنة في دين عليه "
