And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:57
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Thabit—meaning Abu Zayd—narrated to us, 'Asim narrated to us, he mentioned that the one who narrates [says]: "That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, permitted *nabidh* (fermented drink) after he had forbidden it." Mundhir Abu Hassan mentioned it from Samurah ibn Jundub. And he used to say: "Whoever opposes al-Hajjaj has indeed opposed [the truth]."
