And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:59
Hushaym narrated to us, Humayd narrated to us, from al-Hasan, who said: A man came to him and said: "I have a slave who ran away, and I have vowed that if I am able to capture him, I will cut off his hand." Al-Hasan said: Samurah narrated to us, saying: "Rarely did the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, deliver a sermon without commanding charity in it and forbidding mutilation in it."
حدثنا هشيم، حدثنا حميد، عن الحسن، قال: جاءه رجل فقال: إن عبدا له أبق، وإنه نذر إن قدر عليه أن يقطع يده، فقال الحسن: حدثنا سمرة، قال: " قلما خطب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خطبة إلا أمر فيها بالصدقة، ونهى فيها عن المثلة "
