And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:62
Ishaq ibn Yusuf narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Samurah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every boy is mortgaged by his 'aqiqah (sacrifice); it is slaughtered for him on the seventh day, his head is shaved, and he is named."
