And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:77
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Sufyan, Habib ibn Abi Thabit narrated to me, from Maymun ibn Abi Shabib, from Samurah ibn Jundub, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Wear white garments, for they are purer and better, and shroud your dead in them."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن سفيان، حدثني حبيب بن أبي ثابت، عن ميمون بن أبي شبيب، عن سمرة بن جندب، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " البسوا الثياب البيض، فإنها أطهر وأطيب، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم "
