And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:89
Yazid narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from Humayd al-Tawil, from al-Hasan, from Samurah ibn Jundab: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had two silences: a silence when he began the prayer, and a silence when he finished the second surah, before he bowed." This was mentioned to Imran ibn Husayn, and he said: "Samurah has lied." So he wrote about that to Medina to Ubayy ibn Ka'b, and he said: "Samurah has spoken the truth."
حدثنا يزيد، أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة، عن حميد الطويل، عن الحسن، عن سمرة بن جندب، " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كانت له سكتتان، سكتة حين يفتتح الصلاة، وسكتة إذا فرغ من السورة الثانية، قبل أن يركع "، فذكر ذلك لعمران بن حصين، فقال: كذب سمرة، فكتب في ذلك إلى المدينة إلى أبي بن كعب فقال: صدق سمرة
