Hadith 458:22
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Abu Mas'ud al-Jurayri narrated to us, from Abu al-'Ala' ibn al-Shikhkhir, from al-Hanzali, from Shaddad ibn Aws, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no man who goes to his bed and recites a surah from the Book of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, but that Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, sends an angel to him to protect him from everything that harms him, until he wakes up whenever he wakes up."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، حدثنا أبو مسعود الجريري، عن أبي العلاء بن الشخير، عن الحنظلي، عن شداد بن أوس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما من رجل يأوي إلى فراشه، فيقرأ سورة من كتاب الله عز وجل إلا بعث الله عز وجل إليه ملكا يحفظه من كل شيء يؤذيه حتى يهب متى هب "
