Hadith 458:24
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Qaza’ah ibn Suwayd al-Bahili informed us, from ‘Asim ibn Makhlad, from Abu al-Ash’ath al-San’ani. My father said: al-Ashyab narrated to us, and he said: From Abu ‘Asim al-Ahwal, from Abu al-Ash’ath, from Shaddad ibn Aws, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever composes a verse of poetry after the final night prayer (‘Isha’), his prayer for that night shall not be accepted."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، أخبرنا قزعة بن سويد الباهلي، عن عاصم بن مخلد، عن أبي الأشعث الصنعاني، قال أبي: حدثنا الأشيب، فقال: عن أبي عاصم الأحول، عن أبي الأشعث، عن شداد بن أوس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من قرض بيت شعر بعد العشاء الآخرة، لم تقبل له صلاة تلك الليلة " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
