Hadith 458:26
Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Qaza’ah narrated to us, he said: Humayd al-A’raj narrated to me, from al-Zuhri, from Mahmud ibn Labid, from Shaddad ibn Aws, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "When you are present with your dying ones, close their eyes, for the sight follows the soul. And say good things, for the angels say 'Amin' to what the family of the deceased says."
حدثنا حسن بن موسى، قال: حدثنا قزعة، قال: حدثني حميد الأعرج، عن الزهري، عن محمود بن لبيد، عن شداد بن أوس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا حضرتم موتاكم، فأغمضوا البصر، فإن البصر يتبع الروح، وقولوا خيرا: فإنه يؤمن على ما قال أهل الميت "
