Hadith 458:27
Hassan al-Ashyab narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, he said: Ubaydullah ibn al-Mughirah narrated it to us, from Ya'la ibn Shaddad ibn Aws, he said: Shaddad ibn Aws said: "Abu Dharr used to hear a hadith from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in which there was strictness. Then he would go out to his people and greet them. Then, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would grant a concession regarding it afterward, but Abu Dharr would not hear it, so Abu Dharr would hold fast to the strict matter."
حدثنا حسن الأشيب، قال: حدثنا ابن لهيعة، قال: حدثناه عبيد الله بن المغيرة، عن يعلى بن شداد بن أوس، قال: قال شداد بن أوس: " كان أبو ذر يسمع الحديث من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فيه الشدة، ثم يخرج إلى قومه يسلم عليهم ، ثم إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يرخص فيه بعد، فلم يسمعه أبو ذر، فيتعلق أبو ذر بالأمر الشديد "
