Musnad Ahmad 936:4

'Abdullah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to me, Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, my father narrated to us, he said: I heard Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrating from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr, from Yahya ibn 'Abdullah, from 'Umarah ibn Hazm, Ubayy ibn Ka'b narrated to me: That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent him as a collector of Zakat, and he mentioned the like of the hadith of my father, and added in it, 'Umarah said: "And I was in charge of their Zakat during the time of Mu'awiyah, and I took from that man thirty *hiqqah* (three-year-old she-camels) for one thousand five hundred camels upon him." 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi and Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from al-Jarud ibn Abi Sabrah, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b—al-Khuza'i said in his hadith: Ubayy ibn Ka'b said to me—and 'Abdullah ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj narrated it to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from al-Jarud ibn Abi Sabrah, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b: That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed with the people and omitted a verse. He said: "Which of you corrected me in something of my recitation?" Ubayy said: "I did, O Messenger of Allah, you omitted such and such verse." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I knew, if anyone were to correct me in it, it would be you."
