Abdullah narrated to us, Zakariya ibn Yahya ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Sa’id al-Raqqashi al-Khazzaz narrated to me, Salm ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, Malik ibn Mighwal narrated to us, from Abu al-Fadl, from Abu al-Jawza’, from Ubayy ibn Ka’b, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Bilal, place between your Adhan and your Iqamah a breath [of time] so that the eater may finish his food at leisure, and the one performing ablution may relieve himself at leisure."
