Hadith 608:1
'Ali ibn 'Ayyash and 'Isam ibn Khalid narrated to us, they said: Huraiz narrated to us, he said: Nimran ibn Makhmar narrated to me—and 'Isam said: Ibn Mahbar—from Shurahbil ibn Aws—and he was one of the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—that he said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Whoever drinks wine, then flog him. If he returns [to it], then flog him. If he returns [to it], then flog him. If he returns [to it], then kill him."
حدثنا علي بن عياش، وعصام بن خالد، قالا: حدثنا حريز، قال: حدثني نمران بن مخمر ، وقال: عصام ابن محبر، عن شرحبيل بن أوس ، - وكان من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم - أنه قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من شرب الخمر فاجلدوه، فإن عاد فاجلدوه، فإن عاد فاجلدوه، فإن عاد فاقتلوه "
