Musnad Ahmad 948:2

Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us, Isma'il—meaning Ibn Ja'far—informed us, Yazid ibn Khusayfah informed us, that Busr ibn Sa'id informed him that he heard in the gathering of the Laythites, they were mentioning that Sufyan informed them: His horse became exhausted at al-'Aqiq while he was in an expedition that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had sent them on. So he returned to him to ask him for a mount. Sufyan claimed, as they mentioned, that the Prophet (ﷺ) went out with him seeking a camel for him, but he did not find one except with Abu Jahm ibn Hudhayfah al-'Adawi. He offered to buy it from him, but Abu Jahm said to him, "I will not sell it to you, O Messenger of Allah, but take it and carry on it whomever you wish." He claimed that he took it from him, then went out until he reached the well of al-Ahab. He claimed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The buildings are about to reach this place, and Syria is about to be conquered. Men from the people of this land will come to it, and its greenery and ease will please them, but Medina is better for them if they only knew. Then Iraq will be conquered, and a people will come who will drive their livestock, and they will move with their families and those who obey them, but Medina is better for them if they only knew. Indeed, Ibrahim prayed for the people of Mecca, and I ask Allah to bless us in our sa' and to bless us in our mudd, just as He blessed the people of Mecca."
