Hadith of Suhayb ibn Sinan from the tribe of Nimr ibn Qasit
Hadith 696:2
Hashim narrated to us, 'Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja'far informed us, from al-Hasan ibn Muhammad al-Ansari, who said: A man from [the tribe of] an-Namir ibn Qasit narrated to me, saying: I heard Suhayb ibn Sinan narrating, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Any man who promises a woman a dowry, while Allah knows that he does not intend to pay it to her, he has deceived her by Allah and made her private parts lawful [to him] through falsehood; he will meet Allah on the day he meets Him as an adulterer. And any man who borrows a debt from a man, while Allah knows that he does not intend to pay it back to him, he has deceived him by Allah and made his wealth lawful [to him] through falsehood; he will meet Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, on the day he meets Him as a thief."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
