Hadith 148:1
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, who said: I heard Abu Shu‘bah narrating from Suwayd ibn Muqarrin, that a man slapped a slave girl belonging to the family of Suwayd ibn Muqarrin. Suwayd said to him: "Do you not know that the face is forbidden? I saw myself as the seventh of seven brothers, and we had no servant except one, and one of us slapped him." "So the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered us to set him free."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن محمد بن المنكدر، قال: سمعت أبا شعبة، يحدث عن سويد بن مقرن، أن رجلا، لطم جارية لآل سويد بن مقرن، فقال له سويد: أما علمت أن الصورة محرمة، لقد رأيتني سابع سبعة مع إخوتي، وما لنا إلا خادم واحد فلطمه أحدنا " فأمرنا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن نعتقه "
