Hadith 1129:17

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Mulazim ibn 'Amr al-Suhaymi narrated to us, Siraj ibn 'Uqbah narrated to us, from his paternal aunt Khuldah bint Talq, she said: My father Talq narrated to me: That he was sitting with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when Suhar 'Abd al-Qays came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion regarding a drink we make in our land from our fruits?" The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, turned away from him until he asked him three times, until he stood and prayed. When he finished his prayer, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Where is the one asking about the intoxicant? Do not drink it, and do not give it to your Muslim brother to drink. For by the One in Whose hand is my soul - or by the One by Whom he swears - no man drinks it seeking the pleasure of its intoxication, but that Allah will give him to drink of the wine (khamr) on the Day of Resurrection."

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
