Hadith 300:14
'Affan narrated to us, Mulazim ibn 'Amr al-Suhaymi narrated to us, my grandfather 'Abdullah ibn Badr narrated to us, he said: And Siraj ibn 'Uqbah narrated to me, that Qays ibn Talq narrated to them, that his father, Talq ibn 'Ali, came to us during Ramadan and stayed with us until evening. He led us in the standing prayer (Qiyam) during Ramadan and performed the Witr with us. Then he went down to the mosque of Riman and led them in prayer until only the Witr remained. He brought a man forward, and he performed the Witr with them. He said: I heard the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "There are no two Witrs in one night."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا ملازم بن عمرو السحيمي، حدثنا جدي عبد الله بن بدر، قال: وحدثني سراج بن عقبة، أن قيس بن طلق حدثهما، أن أباه طلق بن علي أتانا في رمضان وكان عندنا حتى أمسى، فصلى بنا القيام في رمضان، وأوتر بنا، ثم انحدر إلى مسجد ريمان فصلى بهم حتى بقي الوتر، فقدم رجلا فأوتر بهم وقال: سمعت نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " لا وتران في ليلة "
