Hadith 300:3
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: Mulazim narrated to us, he said: 'Abd Allah ibn Badr narrated to us, from Qays ibn Talq, from his father, that he asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about praying in a single garment. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, loosened his lower garment (izar) and wrapped it over his upper garment (rida'), then he stood and prayed. When he finished the prayer, he said: "Does everyone among you find two garments?"
حدثنا عبد الصمد، قال: حدثنا ملازم، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن بدر، عن قيس بن طلق، عن أبيه، أنه سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الصلاة في الثوب الواحد، فأطلق رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إزاره، فطارق به رداءه، ثم قام فصلى، فلما قضى الصلاة قال: " كلكم يجد ثوبين؟ "
