Hadith 300:9
Musa narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Jabir narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn al-Nu’man, from Qays ibn Talq, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The dawn is not that which extends vertically in the horizon, but rather it is the one that spreads horizontally and is red."
حدثنا موسى، حدثنا محمد بن جابر، عن عبد الله بن النعمان، عن قيس بن طلق، عن أبيه، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ليس الفجر المستطيل في الأفق ولكنه المعترض الأحمر "
