Hadith 436:19
Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: My father dictated to me, he dictated it to us in the *Nawadir*, he said: Abu Tawbah al-Rabi’ ibn Nafi’ wrote to me, he said: Al-Haytham ibn Humayd narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Waqid, from Sulayman ibn Musa, from Kathir ibn Murrah, from Tamim al-Dari, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever recites one hundred verses in a night, it is written for him as the devotion (qunut) of a night."
قال عبد الله بن أحمد: حدثني أبي إملاء ، أملاه علينا في النوادر قال: كتب إلي أبو توبة الربيع بن نافع، قال: حدثنا الهيثم بن حميد، عن زيد بن واقد، عن سليمان بن موسى، عن كثير بن مرة، عن تميم الداري، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من قرأ بمائة آية في ليلة، كتب له قنوت ليلة " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
