Hadith 436:9
Waki' narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn Mawhab, he said: I heard Tamim al-Dari, he said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is the Sunnah regarding a man from the People of the Book who embraces Islam at the hands of a man from the Muslims?" He said: "He is the most entitled of people to his life and his death."
حدثنا وكيع، قال: حدثنا عبد العزيز بن عمر بن عبد العزيز، عن عبد الله بن موهب، قال: سمعت تميما الداري، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله ما السنة في الرجل من أهل الكتاب يسلم على يدي رجل من المسلمين؟ قال: " هو أولى الناس بمحياه ومماته "
