Hadith 684:4
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from 'Alqamah ibn Marthad, from Tariq ibn Shihab, that a man asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while he had placed his foot in the stirrup: "Which jihad is best?" He said: "A word of truth in the presence of a tyrannical ruler."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، عن سفيان، عن علقمة بن مرثد، عن طارق بن شهاب، أن رجلا سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقد وضع رجله في الغرز: أي الجهاد أفضل؟ قال: " كلمة حق عند سلطان جائر "
