Hadith 684:8
Abu Ahmad Muhammad ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Makhariq, from Tariq, who said: The delegation of Ahmas and the delegation of Qays arrived to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Begin with the Ahmasis before the Qaysis." He prayed for Ahmas, saying: "O Allah, bless Ahmas, and its horses, and its men," seven times.
حدثنا أبو أحمد محمد بن عبد الله، حدثنا سفيان، عن مخارق، عن طارق قال: قدم وفد أحمس ووفد قيس على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ابدءوا بالأحمسيين قبل القيسيين "، ودعا لأحمس فقال: " اللهم بارك في أحمس، وخيلها ورجالها " سبع مرات
