Musnad Ahmad 311:4

'Affan narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, Sulayman al-Shaybani narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn al-Sa'ib narrated to us, he said: I asked 'Abd Allah ibn Mu'qal about sharecropping (al-muzara'ah). He said: Thabit ibn al-Dahhak narrated to us, "That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade sharecropping."
