Musnad Ahmad 311:5

'Affan narrated to us, he said: Aban narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, from Abu Qilabah, from Thabit ibn al-Dahhak al-Ansari, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam, while being a liar, then he is as he said. And there is no vow upon a man in that which he does not possess. And whoever kills himself with something in the world will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection."
