Hadith 981:19
Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Abu Qilabah, from the one who narrated to him, from Thawban, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the best dinar is a dinar that a man spends on his dependents, or on his mount in the way of Allah, or on his companions in the way of Allah."
حدثنا إسماعيل، حدثنا أيوب، عن أبي قلابة، عمن حدثه، عن ثوبان قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن أفضل دينار دينار أنفقه رجل على عياله، أو على دابته في سبيل الله، أو على أصحابه في سبيل الله "
