Hadith 981:29
Yazid narrated to us, from Hammam, from Qatadah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah, from Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Whoever departs from the world while free from three things: arrogance, misappropriation of spoils (ghulul), and debt, he shall enter Paradise," or he said, "Paradise becomes mandatory for him."
حدثنا يزيد، عن همام، عن قتادة، عن سالم بن أبي الجعد، عن معدان بن أبي طلحة، عن ثوبان مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من فارق الروح الجسد وهو بريء من ثلاث: الكبر والغلول، والدين فهو في الجنة " أو " وجبت له الجنة "
