Hadith 981:50
Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, al-Awza'i narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Hisham narrated to me, Ma'dan narrated to me, he said: I said to Thawban, the freed slave of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "Narrate to us a hadith that Allah may benefit us with." He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "There is no servant who prostrates a prostration to Allah, except that Allah raises him a degree by it and removes a sin from him by it."
حدثنا أبو المغيرة، حدثنا الأوزاعي، حدثني الوليد بن هشام، حدثني معدان قال: قلت لثوبان مولى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: حدثنا حديثا ينفعنا الله به . قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " ما من عبد يسجد لله سجدة، إلا رفعه الله بها درجة وحط عنه بها خطيئة "
