Hadith 981:66
Muhammad ibn Bakr and Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, they said: Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan, from Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "Whoever departs from the world while his soul is free from three things shall enter Paradise: arrogance, misappropriation of spoils (ghulul), and debt."
حدثنا محمد بن بكر، وعبد الوهاب قالا: أخبرنا سعيد، عن قتادة، عن سالم بن أبي الجعد، عن معدان، عن ثوبان مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: " من فارق الروح الجسد، وهو بريء من ثلاث دخل الجنة: الكبر والغلول والدين "
