Hadith 981:72
Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, Ibn Thawban narrated to us, Hassan ibn Atiyyah narrated to me, that Abu Kabshah al-Saluli narrated to him, that he heard Thawban say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Follow the right course, draw near [to perfection], and act. The best of your deeds is prayer, and no one maintains wudu (ablution) except a believer."
حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم، حدثنا ابن ثوبان، حدثني حسان بن عطية، أن أبا كبشة السلولي حدثه، أنه سمع ثوبان يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " سددوا وقاربوا واعملوا ، وخير أعمالكم الصلاة، ولا يحافظ على الوضوء إلا مؤمن "
