Hadith 981:9
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, who said: It was said to Thawban, "Narrate to us from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said, "You are lying about me." Then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: "There is no Muslim who prostrates a prostration to Allah, except that Allah raises him a degree by it and removes a sin from him by it."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن عمرو بن مرة، عن سالم بن أبي الجعد قال: قيل لثوبان حدثنا عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: تكذبون علي وقال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " ما من مسلم يسجد لله سجدة إلا رفعه الله بها درجة وحط عنه بها خطيئة "
