Hadith 981:91
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Abu Qilabah, from Abu Asma', from Thawban, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah—or my Lord—gathered the earth for me, its easts and its wests, and the dominion of my nation will reach what was gathered for me of it. And I was given the two treasures: the red and the white. And I asked my Lord for my nation that He would not destroy them by a widespread famine, and that He would not empower an enemy against them from outside themselves who would violate their unity, until some of them take others captive and some of them destroy others. Even if those from all its regions—or he said: those in its regions—gathered against them. Behold, I fear for my nation the misguided leaders. And when the sword is placed upon my nation, it will not be lifted from them until the Day of Resurrection. And the Hour will not be established until tribes from my nation join the polytheists, and until tribes from my nation worship idols."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا حماد بن زيد، حدثنا أيوب، عن أبي قلابة، عن أبي أسماء، عن ثوبان قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن الله أو إن ربي زوى لي الأرض مشارقها، ومغاربها وإن أمتي سيبلغ ملكها ما زوي لي منها، وأعطيت الكنزين: الأحمر والأبيض، وإني سألت ربي لأمتي أن لا يهلكها بسنة بعامة، ولا يسلط عليهم عدوا من سوى أنفسهم فيستبيح بيضتهم حتى يكون بعضهم يسبي بعضا، وبعضهم يهلك بعضا، ولو اجتمع عليهم من بين أقطارها، أو قال: من بأقطارها، ألا وإني أخاف على أمتي الأئمة المضلين، وإذا وضع السيف في أمتي لم يرفع عنها إلى يوم القيامة، ولا تقوم الساعة حتى تلحق قبائل من أمتي بالمشركين، وحتى تعبد قبائل من أمتي الأوثان "
