Hadith 981:93
'Affan narrated to us, Aban narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah, from Thawban, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever prays over a funeral, for him is a qirat. And whoever witnesses its burial, for him are two qirats." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, and what are the two qirats?" He said: "The smaller of them is like Uhud."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا أبان، حدثنا قتادة، عن سالم بن أبي الجعد، عن معدان بن أبي طلحة، عن ثوبان، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من صلى على جنازة فله قيراط، ومن شهد دفنها فله قيراطان ". قيل: يا رسول الله، وما القيراطان؟ قال: " أصغرهما مثل أحد "
