'Abdullah narrated to us, Muhammad bin 'Abbad al-Makki and Abu Marwan al-'Uthmani Muhammad bin 'Uthman bin Khalid narrated to us, they said: Abu Damrah narrated to us, from Ibn Harmalah, from Ya'la bin 'Abd al-Rahman bin Hurmuz, that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbad al-Zuraqi informed him that: He used to hunt sparrows in the well of Abu Ihab, and they belonged to them. 'Ubadah saw me while I had taken a sparrow, so he snatched it from me and released it, and said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited what is between its two lava fields just as Ibrahim prohibited Makkah." And 'Ubadah was one of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ).
