Musnad Ahmad 1012:72

Al-Walid narrated to us, he said: Ibn Thawban—perhaps he is Abd al-Rahman ibn Thabit ibn Thawban—narrated to me, from Umayr ibn Hani’, he narrated to him: From Junadah ibn Abi Umayyah, from Ubadah ibn al-Samit, from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, the like of that. He said: "As long as they do not command you to commit an evident act of sin."
