Hadith of ‘Ubadah ibn al-Samit (RA)
Hadith 1012:87
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Muhayriz al-Jumahi, from al-Mukhaddaji, from Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said—from his mouth to my mouth, I do not say "so-and-so narrated to me" nor "so-and-so": "Five prayers which Allah has obligated upon His servants. Whoever meets Him with them, not having neglected anything of them, meets Him while he has a covenant with Him by which He will enter him into Paradise. And whoever meets Him having diminished anything from them, out of belittlement of their right, meets Him, and there is no covenant for him; if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will forgive him."
