'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muslim narrated to us, Yazid—meaning Ibn Abi Ziyad—narrated to me, from 'Isa ibn Fa'id, from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no commander of ten except that he will be brought on the Day of Resurrection shackled; nothing will release him from it except his justice. And there is no man who learned the Quran, then forgot it, except that he will meet Allah on the Day of Resurrection as a leper."
